David Burdick / Chef Owner

Twelve Stones is a dream 20 years in the making.  David has been cooking and entertaining all his life.  Preparing fine food for friends and family has always been a passion close to his heart.  He was fortunate enough to travel the world and experience many cultures throughout his life.  The biggest influence would have to be European cuisine.  In 2006, Chef David made the decision to walk away from two decades in the IT industry to attend culinary school, cut his teeth in the Dallas restaurant scene and then open his own kitchen in Flower Mound…and thus, Twelve Stones was born.

The Restaurant

Our chef-driven, neighborhood restaurant is a place where the food and drinks are serious, but the atmosphere is not.  We encourage you to pull up a pine bench, enjoy a leisurely dinner or relax at the 35-seat bar with friends and neighbors.  The rotating New American menu is based on what’s in season, locally sourced and inspiring to the Chef.  Cocktails are approached with as much care as the food, with each drink hand-crafted from fresh ingredients.  The dining room, designed by award-winning designer, Kuzuu Design is a refined, industrial-farm space with a comfortable, inviting vibe.

We’d like to invite you to join us Tuesday-Saturday for lunch, happy hour, or dinner. We’ll be sure to keep you posted on our Facebook page.

Thank you for taking a look at our site.  We look forward to seeing you soon.
